Once you’ve perfected the art of homemade sweet and sour chicken wings, takeaway will never be the same again. This crispy, oven-baked recipe is a lot easier than you may think – there’s no deep frying involved, making it a deliciously health-conscious meal for the whole family to enjoy

Ingredients Sauce:

1 onion, finely sliced
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp ground green chili
2 tsp Gorima’s Green spice
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp sesame seed
½ cup cream

Method:

1. Gently fry onion in butter until soft.
2. Add chilies, spices, garlic and seeds, followed with the cream.
3. Simmer for a few minutes.

Ingredients Veggies:

2 cups chopped butternut, carrots, gem squash, baby marrows
½ cup cream-style sweetcorn

Method:

1. Steam chopped vegetables.
2. Place in a casserole dish.
3. Spoon sweetcorn over vegetables.
4. Top with the cooked sauce.
5. Cover, bake at 180 degrees for 15 mins

  1. Marinate wings for an hour with ginger and garlic and amigos spice
  2. Add oil to pan
  3. Add chicken and allow to brown
  4. Add water
  5. Pour sticky wings sauce and reduce heat
