Gorima’s Ramborosi Broad Beans & Potato

The secret of this bean’s recipe, Mrs. M believes, is Mrs. M’s Hot Mix, popularly known as Gorima’s Romborosi masala, developed especially for exotic dishes. (Romborosi means very tasty is Tamil).

Ingredients

2 cups boiled beans
¾ cup oil
2 cups onions
1 cup grated tomatoes
4 tbsp Ramborosi masala
2 tsp salt
3 green chilies
2 tsp ground garlic
½ tsp jeera seeds
½ tsp mustard seeds
2 potatoes cut in quarters

Method

Add oil to a pan and sauté onions
Add mustard seeds and jeera seeds.
Add Gorima’s Ramborosi masala
Add garlic
Add tomatoes
Add potatoes and boiled broad beans and cook for 15 minutes

Tempering:

Ingredients:

2 tbsp ghee
2 slivered garlic
1 tbsp fresh dhania
1 tsp curry leaves

Method

Heat ghee in a pan
Add above ingredients
Add to cooked broad beans and potatoes
